Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 stalks celery stalks washed and trimmed
  • 12 cherry tomatoes cherry tomatoes preferably ripe and firm
  • 3 large carrots peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened for easy spreading
  • 20 black black olives pitted, sliced in half
  • Optional additional decorating ingredients such as sliced bell peppers or herbs

Method
 

  1. Arrange the celery stalks upright on a large serving platter to form the base of your ghost figures.
  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and place each one at the top of a celery stalk to resemble the ghost's head.
  3. Use a small spoon or piping bag to spread a dollop of cream cheese on each cherry tomato half to create a ghostly face or decoration.
  4. Cut each black olive in half to make small eyes, and gently press them onto the cream cheese faces on each ghost for eyes and facial features.
  5. Arrange slices of carrots around the base or side of the platter to add colorful accents and ground the display, or place alongside the celery ghosts for extra texture and variety.
  6. Optional: Decorate around the ghosts with additional vegetables or herbs to add more fun to your spooky display.
  7. Serve immediately to keep the vegetables crisp and the faces fresh, or refrigerate briefly if needed before serving.

Notes

Make sure to soften the cream cheese beforehand for easy spreading. You can customize the faces with different vegetable features for variety.
