- Pour the Gatorade into a shallow dish, spreading it out evenly to about half an inch thick.
- Place the dish in the freezer and let it sit undisturbed for about 30 minutes until it begins to freeze around the edges.
- Remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork or spoon to scrape and stir the icy parts, breaking up any large frozen chunks.
- Return the dish to the freezer and repeat the stirring process every 15 minutes, scraping and breaking up the ice as it refreezes.
- Continue this process for about 30 to 40 minutes until the mixture has a granular, slushy consistency — like icy snow.
- Serve the Gatorade slushie immediately in cups, using a spoon or straw for an icy, colorful refreshment.
Notes
For extra flavor, add fresh fruit or a splash of lemon juice before freezing.
